Tax conviction for McFeely firm
BANKRUPT Priory Hall developer Tom McFeely's construction company Coalport has been convicted in the District Court of failing to submit income tax returns.
Barrister Eileen Finn, for the Revenue, told the court that Coalport had failed to file its returns due for 2010 and 2011.
She said the Revenue had sent multiple requests to the company.
Ms Finn told Judge John O'Neill that no income tax return had been received to date.
No legal representatives for Coalport appeared in court yesterday. Judge O'Neill convicted the company and imposed fines totalling €5,500.
