Taoiseach Enda Kenny tells GRA: The place to be is at the table

TAOISEACH Enda Kenny has urged the main Garda union to go back into talks on the Croke Park Agreement.

"The place to be is at the table," he said.

Garda Representative Association members are protesting at the venue for the negotiations on finding another €1bn worth of savings from the deal.

The union has already withdrawn from the negotiations on the agreement.

Mr Kenny says he would suggest the GRA should air their concerns inside the talks.

"The place to be is at the table," he said.

"The opportunity is there for the Garda Representative Association to go back in there," he added.
