Suspect in murder held

A PRIME suspect for the murder of a man, shot dead in front of his two children, was arrested as he returned home from a holiday in Spain.

The 22-year-old suspect from Ballyfermot, Dublin, disappeared shortly after the shooting of Daniel Gaynor in west Dublin in August.

However, he was arrested by detectives shortly after he stepped off a flight from Malaga at Dublin airport on Sunday night.

Gaynor (24) was shot in the neck and chest as he walked with his partner and two children along St Helena's Road in Finglas on August 14.
