The sun is expected to shine for most of this week, with temperatures set to reach 21C today in the east of the country.
Met Éireann said that there will be a lot of dry weather for the rest of the week, with many areas seeing little or no rainfall.
However, the west and north of the country will see some small amounts of rain and drizzle, including this evening.
Wednesday will be mainly dry, with some bright or sunny spells and a few spots of light rain or drizzle will occur. Maximum temperatures will be 17C to 21C.
It will be dry but slightly cooler on Thursday, while weather forecasts for Friday and the weekend has been described as "uncertain".
"Early indications suggest that there will still be a good deal of dry weather, although a few showers or spots of rain are possible and it may turn a little cooler and fresher over the weekend," Met Éireann added.
Met Éireann expects the temperatures to continue to pick up over the coming weeks as we get deeper into the summer months.
