Sudden death of young man under investigation
Detectives are investigating the sudden death of a man in his 20s.
Gardai said the man was found in an ‘unresponsive state’ at a house in Rosevale crescent, Dunleer, Co Louth at about 9am this morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by a doctor and his body removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for a post mortem.
The house has been preserved for a technical examination and the office of the state pathologist has been informed.
Gardai said the results of the post mortem will determine how the investigation will develop.
