FAI chief John Delaney showed off his best moves as he took to the dancefloor with Kerri Nicole Blanc (in black), Yurena Castro Shaw, Adrienne Murphy and Sinead Duffy.

Mr Delaney was at Dandelion Cafe Bar in Dublin to help launch Strictly for Soccer – a fundraiser for the John Giles Foundation which features an unlikely match of ballroom dancing and football.

The event takes place in the Citywest Hotel on May 24 and will be hosted by the FAI chief executive. A judging panel including John Giles and Lisa Murphy will put 16 dancing couples through their paces.

Entertainment will also be provided by the Apres Match team who will auction the shoes worn by Nicky Byrne on the BBC's 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
