A Dublin couple did not let Storm Emma put a stop to their wedding day, despite the odds being stacked against them.

Newly-weds Jeanine Hussey and Damien McCormack tied the knot yesterday afternoon as the blizzards caused by Storm Emma wreaked havoc ocross the country.

The bride from Lusk said even though many things went wrong throughout the morning, they still managed to make the most out of the special occasion .

The couple were married at St MacCullins Church in Lusk, Co Dublin, and even managed to brave the freezing conditions afterwards, posing for some memorable photos outside the church.
