
MICHAEL Lowry should face the judgment of the people in a 'recall election', because of the findings contained in the Moriarty Tribunal report, according to TCD Seanad candidate Tony Williams.
Mr Williams, a solicitor, said the new Fine Gael-Labour Government should introduce legislation as part of its political reform package to permit recall elections to take place.
Mr Williams said that recall elections are a familiar part of the political landscape in several countries, including the United States.
