FORMER Taoiseach Garret FitzGerald will be laid to rest on Sunday in a State funeral.
Dr FitzGerald will lie in repose in the Mansion House tomorrow before the removal to Donnybrook in the evening.
His funeral Mass will take place on Sunday and he will be buried in Shanganagh Cemetery in Dublin.
Members of the public will be able to file past his coffin in the Oak Room of the Mansion House from 11am to 7pm tomorrow and sign a Book of Condolence.
The formal reception of Dr FitzGerald's remains will take place at the Sacred Heart Church, Donnybrook, Dublin 4 at 8pm.
Following the 8pm removal service and until 10.30pm, there will be a further opportunity for members of the public to file past the coffin and to offer their condolences to the family.
The funeral Mass will take place at the Sacred Heart Church in Donnybrook at 2.30pm.
The burial will take place afterwards in Shanganagh Cemetery, Old Bray Road, Shankill, Co Dublin.
The funeral cortege is expected to arrive at approximately 4.30pm.
Seating will be reserved at the Mass on Sunday.
Limited remaining seating will be available for the public but the Mass will be relayed outside.
Details of the locations of the Books of Condolence will be decided today.
Flags are being flown at half-mast on all Government Buildings until after the funeral.
