WELCOME to the Gooseberries -- Ireland's answer to the Hollywood Raspberry awards -- which last night celebrated the worst in music and media.
Arriving guests posed for the cameras outside on a green rather than red carpet, with most of the winners understandably deciding to steer clear of the ceremony completely.
The Ardilaun Award, named after the hotel where Taoiseach Brian Cowen gave his infamous Morning Ireland radio interview last year, was won by the man himself.
Bertie Ahern won Worst Journalist for his sports column in a British Sunday paper and Worst Irish Ad for his appearance in a cupboard on behalf of the same organ.
Crystal Swing also took two Gooseberries -- for Worst Irish Act and Worst Single, awarded for the cover 'He Drinks Tequila'.
Worst Radio DJ went to Cork's 96FM's Neil Prendeville following his in-flight antics.
Ray Foley scooped Worst TV Host for TV3 dating show 'Take Me Out' with RTE's 'Fade Street' winning Worst TV Show.
All the winners were chosen by a public vote on website www.thegooseberries.com.
But it wasn't all gooseberries. Rubberbandits and 'Savage Eye' comedian Dave McSavage were both honoured.
"In the light of all the negativity surrounding our little island nation, just this once we have decided to give both Rubberbandits and Dave McSavage awards for the positive impact they have had on Irish music and media," said organiser Barbara McCarthy.
