Spot the muppets: Archie joins Sesame crew

David Young

WHO are those muppets?

First Minister Peter Robinson and his deputy Martin McGuinness were introduced to a sum-loving squirrel yesterday as the latest inhabitant in the North's own take on Sesame Street.

Sesame Tree, the Belfast branch of the US children's TV show, unveiled the new resident as it launched its second series, to be shown on CBeebies.

Teaming up with the muppet stars of series one, Hilda and Potto, is Archie -- named after Archimedes -- a three-year-old squirrel who loves maths.

Our picture shows (left to right) Richard Williams, chief executive of Northern Ireland Screen; Mr Robinson; Mr McGuinness; and Denis Rooney, chairman of International Fund for Ireland, with the muppets.
