'Spectrum Project' to light up stage

The Exchange in Temple Bar, Dublin, will host The Spectrum Project – a completely original creation incorporating light, dance and projection visuals – this Wednesday from 9-10pm.

Produced by second-year Business and Arts Management students from the Institute of Art and Design, Dun Laoghaire, The Spectrum Project is a haunting and thought-provoking piece, which is a must-see for anybody who's interested in dance and immersive art.

The project features the hugely talented dancer Roisin Laffan, a recent graduate of Bird College of Dance, Music and Theatre Performance, London. Roisin danced and choreographed in CODES, a MIDASpaces production for the Absolut Fringe Festival 2012, and in 2013 she was awarded the Ad Astra scholarship for Performing Arts in UCD.

At the end of the dance performance, the audience are encouraged to try out the light movement technology for themselves. Admission is free.

Exchange Dublin, 2 Exchange Street Upper, Dublin 2, is a new collective arts centre in Temple Bar.

Exchange Dublin is a non-alcohol space and events are open to people of all ages.
