Some fishy goings-on by seaside

They were served up any way you wanted them – barbecued, whole, shelled, fried, skewered, marinated or sauced.

And seafood fans chomped their way through mouthful after mouthful of prawns at the Dublin Bay Prawn Festival.

The festival took place in Howth harbour at the weekend, attracting thousands of visitors who sampled various recipes and watched cooking demonstrations of the versatile dish.

Now in its fourth year, it is the ultimate celebration of the world-famous tasty delicacy that is the Dublin Bay Prawn.
