A sniffer dog Scooby helped Revenue officers to seized 11.6kg of herbal cannabis worth in excess of €230,000 at Dublin airport yesterday.

Officers stopped and searched a 31-year-old Malaysian man who had arrived on a flight from Madrid, following routine profiling yesterday.

He was arrested and remanded in custody at Ballymun Garda Station.

Investigations are ongoing, a Revenue spokesperson said.
