Six people hurt in early morning collision in Dublin

SIX people were hospitalised early today after a serious road crash in Dublin.

The accident involving two cars, happened at 5.10am on the Cloverhill Road, Clondalkin and gardai from Ronanstown are investigating.

A single male driver from one car and five people in the second car – one female and four males in their 20s and 30s – were taken to Tallaght and James Hospitals.

All six are still being treated there for their injuries.

Forensic collision investigators are at scene and traffic diversions are in place. The road between the junction of Cloverhill Rd and Cherry Orchard roundabout and Cloverhill rd and Coldcut is closed.
