Sinn Fein calls for balanced debate on Lisbon Treaty

Sinn Fein is calling for a fair and balanced debate on the Lisbon Treaty.

An opinion poll in today's Irish Times reveals that 64 per cent of people are so far undecided about how they'll vote in the forthcoming referendum.

Only 12 per cent of respondents say they know enough about the Treaty.

Sinn Fein MEP Mary Lou McDonald is calling on the Government to set a date for the referendum.

She also wants the Government to begin the circulation of balanced information about the Lisbon Treaty
