Siblings enjoy starring roles in Hollywood show
ITS namesake in Los Angeles is much better known than the tiny village.
But yesterday, Hollywood in Co Wicklow could have been mistaken for a film set in a bygone era.
Locals and visitors were pictured going back in time to a post-war era when people had to be self-reliant and traditional crafts were part of everyday life.
Amongst those who attended the official opening yesterday of the Hollywood Fair -- and who raided an old wardrobe -- were siblings Daisy and Patrick Cullen-Dunne (pictured).
However, the real stars of the show were Davy Doyle (92) and Molly Tutty (93), who opened the fair. Mr Doyle is the oldest man in the village, while Ms Tutty celebrated her 93rd birthday yesterday.
An estimated 2,000 people attended traditional events including a blacksmith demonstration and steam threshing.
