Foster and Allen put the taxman firmly to the back of their minds last night to take part in a charity gig.
The pair -- who are facing a tax bill of more than €6m -- took part in a Christmas gig as they sought to put their legal wrangling with the Revenue behind them.
More than 500 people packed out the Radisson Blu Hotel to watch the pair at a charity concert organised to raise funds for Caulry GAA Club in Mount Temple, Co Westmeath.
Before taking the stage, Tony Allen said he was very much looking forward to the charity gig as Caulry is his home place.
"Caulry are my team and it is my hometown. We are hoping the gig will raise a substantial amount tonight for the club.
"We have been planning to do this for a long time, and we are delighted to help out," he said.
Mick Foster said as legal proceedings were under way he had been advised not to make any further public comment on the tax issue.
