Shear flattery: sheep get Jedhead look

A FARMER has given twin sheep, Jedward-style 'haircuts' in time for the Eurovision final.

Tony Byrne, from Clara, Co Kilkenny, is gearing up for the Clik All Ireland and International Sheep Shearing and Wool Handling Championships on June 4 and 5.

The festival will draw more than 15,000 people to Kilkenny. Coincidentally, it takes place in the Cillin Hill exhibition centre, the same venue the Grimes twins packed for a gig recently.

Now two of Tony's flock, above, are sporting 'Jedheads'.

"The flock features quite a number of twins and we felt it was only fitting that we give them that winning Jedward look," said Tony's sister and festival co-ordinator Marie Doyle.
