Shay grieves for tragic James

Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given was among hundreds of mourners who paid their respects yesterday at the funeral of football fan James Nolan, who died on a trip of a lifetime to Euro 2012.

Robbie Keane's wife Claudine also travelled to Blessington, Co Wicklow, for the funeral of the 21-year-old, who was described as "one in a million".

Mr Nolan's father Jimmy and brother Andy carried the coffin from the Church of Our Lady, followed closely behind by his mother Essie and sister Susie.

Mr Nolan drowned after falling into the river Brda in the Polish city of Bydgoszcz, on the route thousands of Ireland fans followed between Poznan and Gdansk.
