Motorists have been warned of foggy conditions nationwide this morning.

In other parts of the country, Wexford town, Kilkenny city, Waterford city and Thurles are also experiencing foggy conditions.

Meanwhile, traffic has been reduced to one lane after a crash on the N4 Sligo/Dublin eastbound at Mullingar, Co Westmeath.

In Kildare, there are reports of a crash on the N7 Limerick/ Dublin Rd northbound near J7 Kill.

And in Cork, the M8 is closed southbound between J16 Rathcormac and J17 Watergrasshill due to a collision.

Diversions are in place via J14 Fermoy North or J15 Fermoy South.
