SEVEN men have been arrested in connection with the deaths of the wife and three children of a Dublin doctor, who were killed in a house fire.
Leicestershire Police executed warrants at several properties in the Leicester area yesterday.
The men were detained in connection with the fire in Wood Hill on Friday, September 13, in which Shehnila Taufiq (47) her daughter Zainab (19) and sons Bilal (17) and Jamil (15) all died.
Sehnila's husband and father of the children, Dr Muhammad Taufiq Al Sattar (52), a neurosurgeon based in Beaumont, was in Dublin at the time.
A police spokesman last night said the arrested men, aged 16, 18, 20, 21, 24 and two 19-year-olds, remain in custody.
