Search of farm continues in body-find probe

GARDA searches are continuing at a farm one week after the remains of a murdered man were found in a disused slurry tank on the property.

Officers investigating the death of Bobby Ryan (52) were still at the farm in Fawnagown, Co Tipperary, yesterday.

And the Ryan family may have to wait for a number of weeks for the remains to be returned to them.

DNA testing, which is required by gardai to formally establish the remains as those of Mr Ryan, is continuing.

It is not known when the final conclusive results will be determined.

Investigations at the slurry tank where the father of two was discovered on April 30 last have been completed.

However, garda search teams remains on site and the focus yesterday was at the surrounding perimeter of the farm.
