Search continues for Canadian diver missing off Donegal coast

A SEARCH operation to locate a missing diver in Co Donegal is continuing.

The man was reported missing at around 4pm on Saturday.

Searches are being carried out off the cost near Fanad.

The Lough Swilly lifeboat, Portrush lifeboat and coastguard helicopter are involved in the search.

It is understood that the missing diver, who is Canadian, was one of a number who were diving around wrecks in the area.

Searches are taking place approximately 14 miles north-west of Malin Head

Local boats are also understood to be involved in the search.
