Santa's list: Old classics and new faces as top 10 toys for Christmas revealed

With Christmas less than 12 weeks away, the 'top 10 toys' list has been revealed.

Smyths Toys Superstore said that classics like Lego, PAW Patrol and NERF are making the list, alongside newer, more niche brands.

The top 10 are as follows:

  1. FurReal Cubby the Curious Bear (€84.99) is "the perfect pet". Cubby loves to play peek-a-boo and dances from time to time.
  2. 'PAW Patrol' Super PAWs Mighty Jet Command Centre (€59.99) transforms from a jet into a mobile command centre for 'PAW Patrol' pups.
  3. LEGO Harry Potter Knight Bus (€32.99) playset can be used to recreate scenes from 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'.
  4. Pets Alive Boppi the Booty Shakin' Llama (€24.99) will get the whole family up dancing. The llama toy has three songs which it twerks and spins to.
  5. L.O.L Surprise! 2-in-1 Glamper Playset (€114.99) has over 10 play areas, one exclusive doll and more than 55 surprises to unbox.
  6. Ryan's World Giant Mystery Egg (€49.99) from the child YouTuber features a mystery vehicle, ultra-rare figures, slime and putty.
  7. Barbie Travel DreamPlane (€74.99) includes reclining seats, overhead compartments and a snack cart.
  8. NERF Fortnite AR-E (€44.99) features motorised dart-blasting. Power up the motor with the acceleration button to shoot one dart.
  9. Push 'N' Talk Forky 22cm Action Figure Toy Story 4 (€29.99) has more than 20 recorded sayings.
  10. 'Frozen 2' Arendelle Castle (€179.99) is a feature-filled fashion doll playset for young fans of the movies.
