Ryanair criticised for 'low standards' after tweet about 'immigrants flying Aer Lingus'
Ryanair has been criticised for a tweet that was deemed "bad taste" after tweeting that "Immigrants flies Aer Lingus".
Aer Lingus is hitting headlines as it has been revealed two employees were arrested in relation to an international illegal immigrant smuggling network through Dublin Airport.
In response, Ryanair tweeted a picture of "man-sized catering" with the caption "Immigrants flies Aer Lingus".
The tweet has been widely criticised online with many saying it is in "bad taste" and "idiotic".
Labour TD Brendan Howlin said the tweet was an "unbelievably cheap shot from Ryanair".
"Low standards, made simple," Mr Howlin added.
