RORY McIlroy and his girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki are "on top of the world" despite her recent disastrous performance in a tennis tournament.

The couple, also known as Wozzilroy, have tweeted photos of themselves 300 metres above the ground in Sydney.

The daring pair can be seen on a nail-biting walk as they checked out the view from the Tower Skywalk in the Australian city.

Despite their hectic sightseeing tour, they still found time to make sure everyone knew they were out and about. Wozniacki commented that she was "having a great afternoon in Sydney" and was "really proud" of herself "on top of the world" on the skyscraper.

The pair also took in the Sydney Opera House during their sightseeing tour.

Wozniacki, who is ranked world number 10, was not letting her performance in the Brisbane International get her down.

The former world number one lost in three sets to world no 103 Ksenia Pervak of Kazakhstan this week.

Wozniacki and McIlroy are rarely out of the headlines of late.

Speculation mounted after the Danish tennis star was seen wearing a diamond ring. But McIlroy's spokesperson denied they are about to take a trip down the aisle.

McIlroy also recently revealed that he does not know if he will play in the 2016 Olympics. The Northerner is worried that he may be under fire from whichever nation – Ireland or Great Britain – he does not represent at the Games.
