Revved up and ready for action

MOTORCYCLE enthusiasts will rev up this weekend as one of the world's biggest stunt shows comes to Ireland.

The Masters of Dirt last night brought their 2010 tour to Dublin's Citywest Events Centre, and will perform their daredevil motorcycle feats each night until Sunday.

Organisers promise the event won't disappoint as a host of top European and American riders are set to take part in a motorcross freestyle show combining BMX, mini-bikes, and even a snowmobile.

Among the well-known personalities at last night's opening show were TV3 'Xpose' presenters Glenda Gilson and Sean Munsanje, actor Liam Cunningham, TV weatherman Martin King and RTE presenter Brian Ormond.

The audience was treated to a head-spinning range of motorcycle flips and spins, with famous riders on show including freestyle motorcross world champion Remi Bizouard and Jon Guetter, who was the first person to ever do a backflip on a quad bike over a moving train.
