National Lottery HQ have revealed where last night's jackpot-scooping ticket was sold.

The winning ticket, worth €7,545,870, was sold in Eason's, Thurles Shopping Centre, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

A Lottery spokesperson has confirmed to Independent.ie that the ticket was a Quick Pick and was sold on Tuesday.

The winning numbers were 8, 10, 11, 25, 28, 32 and the bonus was 35.

There was also a winner in the Lotto Plus 2 draw.

The golden ticket was sold in the North and has netted the player €250,000.

That winning ticket was sold yesterday at the Supervalu store on Fermanagh Street, Clones, Co. Monaghan.

The numbers selected for that draw were 3. 5, 7, 11, 22, 32 and the bonus was 36.

And it has also been revealed that a Dublin player matched five numbers and the bonus also on last night’s main Lotto draw.

That lucky player picked up a tidy €54,356 after buying their ticket in Centra on Main Street in Swords, Co Dublin.
