Remains of tragic mum and daughter back in Lithuania

THE remains of Jolanta Lubiene and her daughter Enrika were repatriated to their native Lithuania today for burial on Monday

Their remains were taken to Dublin Airport ahead of the flight earlier today and members of the family based in Kerry are already en route home to finalise the funeral arrangements.

Ms Lubiene (27) and her daughter (8) were fatally stabbed at their home at Langford Downs in Killorglin on June 15.

Thousands of euro was raised in Killorglin to help pay for the funerals.

Meanwhile, Aurimas Andruska (26), a Lithuanian national, is charged with their murders and is in custody.

Mr Andruska is due to appear before Tralee District Court again on Tuesday.
