As thousands pack into Dublin Castle ahead of the official announcement that Ireland has voted in favour of marriage equality, the celebrities were out in force to celebrate the Yes vote.

With three constituencies yet to declare, the current tally is 62.3 pc Yes and 37.7 pc.

Among those who crammed into Dublin Castle to enjoy the atmosphere was the O'Driscoll clan.

Speaking out in support of same-sex marriage this month, it is no surprise that Brian O’Driscoll and wife Amy Huberman would come along to show their support.

The rugby legend joined a scrum of celebrities to voiced his support for a 'Yes' vote.

His wife, Amy Huberman, tweeted her approval, writing: "100% totally definitively positively affirmatively voting YES!!!"

Among some of the other celebrities spotted at Dublin Castle was comedian Des Bishop, who, last night, spent the evening picking up voters and driving them to their polling stations so they could take part in today's historic referendum.
