PROTESTERS against the Irish visit of Tony Blair hope to make a citizen's arrest of the former British prime minister.

Hundreds are expected to descend on Dublin's O'Connell Street tomorrow morning while the controversial political figure is in Easons signing copies of his recently published memoirs.

Before that a handful of demonstrators will show up outside RTE's Montrose studios in Donnybrook, Dublin 4 tonight in anticipation of his expected appearance on 'The Late Late Show'.

International uproar over Mr Blair's actions over the Iraq and Afghanistan wars has led to British website,, offering a reward of £3,100 (€3,720) to the next person that attempts a citizen's arrest of the politician.
