Probe as man reportedly shot during row

GARDAI are investigating a reported shooting outside a house in Dublin.

A man in his mid-30s turned up at Lucan garda station yesterday afternoon with injuries to his head and told gardai that a gun had been fired at him during a row.

The incident took place outside a house in Palmerstown Woods estate in Clondalkin, west Dublin, around 3.30pm.

The victim became involved in a dispute with three men and then drove to Lucan garda station. The man was taken to Connolly Hospital were he was treated for cuts to his head.

An area around the house was sealed off as officers carried out further inquiries. Locals said they had heard shouting during the afternoon but did not see or hear any shooting.
