PR executive joins Luas link-up project
PUBLIC relations executive Grainne Mackin has been appointed to the project undertaking the €370m link-up of the Luas light rail systems in the capital.
Ms Mackin, who previously acted as head of communications for Dublin Bus, has been appointed director of communications with the Luas Cross City Project. The biggest construction project since the collapse of the economy is due to get under way next month.
"It is probably the largest capital investment programme the Government is undertaking at the moment," said Ms Mackin.
The appointment was made jointly by Dublin City Council and the National Transport Authority, which will act as the central co-ordinating agency for all transport providers in the Dublin area.
