Post-mortem delays return of luminary de Brún's body
The body of the late Garech de Brún has not yet been repatriated after his sudden death in London on March 10. The cultural luminary was aged 78.
Funeral arrangements have not been announced as a post-mortem has been ordered on his body following his unexpected passing in the UK capital.
It's understood that he indicated his wish to be cremated privately and then have his ashes scattered on the lake of his beloved home of Luggala, Co Wicklow. The eldest son of Dominick Browne - the 4th Lord Oranmore and Browne - and his second wife Oonagh Guinness, the founder of Claddagh Records lived most of his life at the picturesque property.
