Project Ireland 2040: As seen through the eyes of our youngsters...

Tackling the housing crisis and helping the environment should be the government's top priority as we plan for Ireland's future, according to these schoolchildren.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar officially launched the Government's Project Ireland 2040 last week, an ambitious €116 billion development plan that includes investment in sectors such as housing, health, justice, culture and transport.

Independent.ie chatted to Junior Infants and First Class pupils in Adamstown Castle Educate Together national school in Adamstown, Co Dublin about the plan.
