Barrett wakes up and smells the Starbucks coffee

So much for sticking it to the man.

TD Richard Boyd Barrett may be quick to highlight his strong socialist and anti-capitalist beliefs but that didn't stop him nipping into Starbucks en route to Leinster House to pick up a delightfully frothy cup of joe.

Starbucks and left-wing leanings don't tend to go hand in hand; what with the ongoing kerfuffle over corporate tax avoidance.

Perhaps Boyd Barrett couldn't resist that early morning mocha, or the sweet tang of a spiced pumpkin latte.

Either way, it doesn't look good and Boyd Barrett's supporters may hope that he wakes up and smells the coffee.
