Police in Northern Ireland are searching for a man with one tooth in connection to the assault of a 15-year-old girl.

The teenager was attacked in Derry in the early hours of this morning.

The assault occurred in the Racecourse Road area between approximately 1:30am and 3:00am.

The victim described her attacker as having a single upper tooth and is believed to be in his early twenties.

He's described as speaking with a Derry accent and was wearing a red hoodie with white stripes.

PSNI are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information who may have been in the area at the time.
