Plenty to shout about

Sam Griffin

SINGER Lulu is the latest big name in the hot seat for Pat Kenny's UTV Ireland show.

The Scottish songstress, best known for her hit single 'Shout' and her 1969 Eurovision victory, was pictured yesterday after taking part in a pre-recorded interview for the new programme.

The new 13-part chat show, called 'In the Round,' is filmed in front of a live studio audience in the Round Room in Dublin's mansion house.

The singer is expected to discuss her new recently launched album, as well as her Irish lineage and her more than 40 year-career in show business where she has worked with some of the world's best-known singers and performers.

The exact air date for Kenny's new programme is being kept a secret but is expected to launch early next month.

Singing astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield is the only other guest to have been filmed.
