Penney for their thoughts on the big game

LEINSTER coach Joe Schmidt found it hard to mask his smile as he met up with Munster counterpart Rob Penney at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Was Joe amused at Rob's unlikely October choice of a pair of Bermuda shorts?

It certainly means Rob's finding our weather clement -- albeit it's hardly as warm as his native New Zealand right now.

Fellow Kiwi Schmidt, who has been here a lot longer, opted for the safer option of jeans -- Joe appears to know the Irish weather a lot better.

The pair met up at Irish rugby HQ ahead of tomorrow's crunch clash in the RaboDirect Pro 12 league.

Ticket sales are fast approaching the 43,500 mark for the game which kicks off at 6.30pm. Both teams have a lot to prove. Munster's record in the Aviva doesn't give them a whole lot of bragging rights and the loss to the Ospreys in Wales last weekend will make a win more important.

Likewise, Leinster's drubbing at the hands of Connacht in Galway last Friday means they will want to get back to winning ways pretty fast.
