Paul Costelloe takes swipe at Zara Phillips
GAFFE-prone designer Paul Costelloe has remained true to form by declaring Zara Phillips had "by no means the perfect figure".
The enfant terrible of Irish fashion managed to praise, and then insult, the royal Olympian. Costelloe, who appeared on the 'Late Late Show' last night, has earned the wrath of thousands of Irish women by declaring they were "only a couple of generations out of the bog . . . wouldn't know style if it tottered up to them in 10-inch heels".
And while he said on last night's show he had a lot of respect for Victoria Beckham, he said "she'll never be a big, big designer". However, he did say Ireland had been kind to him, with both Arnotts and Dunnes Stores offering him much needed contracts.
