Pat admits to last-minute panic as he gears up for new show
THEY are two of the biggest stars in RTE – yet the only time they have ever worked together is on election night.
But that will change tomorrow when Miriam O'Callaghan joins Pat Kenny as his debate programme comes under the 'Prime Time' umbrella.
"Who is doing what? We simply just don't know yet. We haven't even got a running time and there have been no rehearsals," Kenny told the Irish Independent last night.
Last Friday, the 65-year-old joined O'Callaghan and fellow 'Prime Time' presenter Claire Byrne for the first time on the new set of the current affairs programme. But it was just for a photo shoot ahead of the first edition tonight.
However, something Pat can be sure about is him hosting 'The Late Late Show' again, which he briefly returned to on Friday as a last-minute replacement for host Ryan Tubridy.
"I managed it for one night but I'm glad I'm not doing it for the rest of the year," Kenny said.
'Prime Time' airs at 10:35pm tonight and 9:35pm tomorrow on RTE One.
