Paramedics deliver baby on M50 overnight

A BABY girl was born on Dublin's M50 overnight - with the help of paramedics from Dublin Fire Brigade.

The birth took place at approximately 3.30am this morning.

An ambulance had been called to Junction 4 southbound near Ballymun where paramdics found a woman in her 30s in labour.

It is understood that mother and baby are doing well.
