Golfer Padraig Harrington played the role of doting dad to a tee as he hosted a gaming party with his family to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The golfing ace took a hands-on approach as he was joined by his wife Caroline and two sons Paddy and Ciaran to support National Game Playing Week, which runs from October 26 to November 4.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, organisers are asking schools, workplaces and families to host a gaming party to raise funds for the charity, which grants the wishes of children living with life-threatening illnesses.

Since 1992 the Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted wished for over 1,300 children aged between three and 17 years old.
