Over 600 litres of alcohol seized at Dublin Port ahead of St Patrick's Day
More than 600 litres of wine and beer has been uncovered from a truck which arrived on a Holyhead-Dublin sailing.
A man in his 40s is being questioned and investigations are ongoing.
A total of 200 litres of beer and 408 litres of wine, with an estimated value of €6,700, was discovered by Revenue during the intelligence-led operation at Dublin Port.
The alcohol was undeclared and represents a potential loss to the Exchequer of more than €3,300.
