The jackpot was scooped with a match of five numbers and two stars - numbers 01, 05, 07, 17, 23 with stars 03 and 08.
It is not yet known where exactly in Ireland the winning ticket was sold, or whether the ticket holder is an individual or a syndicate.
A number of users on Lottery.ie reported difficulties in accessing the website and app after the Euromillions draw.
It is understood that the temporary issues were caused as a result of the sheer volume of users trying to log on at the same time.
There have been nine Euromillions winners in Ireland before this recent win, the biggest being Dolores McNamara from Limerick in 2005, who won over €115m.
EuroMillions is played in Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
