A WOMAN on the run from police in Northern Ireland after jumping bail on fraud charges more than two years ago could be living in the Republic, police revealed today.

Julia Holmes is believed to be staying in a number of locations, most recently Galway, according to the PSNI.

She absconded after being freed on bail when accused of two charges of fraud by misrepresentation, totalling £18,000. Holmes, who is in her 60s, failed to turn up for a court appearance in January 2011.

A warrant was then issued for her arrest. Police said she has used a number false identities. She is 5ft 5ins tall with blue eyes and is known to change her hair colour and style.
