O'Leary dedicates race wins to sick dad
AN emotional Michael O'Leary yesterday dedicated his two winners at the Cheltenham Festival to his father, who is battling cancer.
As he celebrated the victories of First Lieutenant and Carlito Brigante, the Ryanair chief, pictured by Steve Humphreys, paid tribute to his father, Ted.
"Today's win is a tribute to him," he said.
A further four Irish-trained horses romped home, making it the best-ever day for the Irish at the Mecca of jump racing.
