Obama cousin to walk a mile in high heels

US President Barack Obama's Irish cousin, Henry Healy, will be walking around in high heels tomorrow.

He will be joined by GAA pundit Michael Duignan and 30 other men as they attempt to walk a mile in heels in aid of Offaly Domestic Violence Support Service (ODVSS).

ODVSS is hosting the event in association with the national April Man Up campaign in order to raise awareness and remove the stigma attached to domestic violence.

Since 2009 the number of clients availing of help and support from ODVSS has doubled, with 38pc of new clients contacting the service last year. 'Walk in Her Shoes' will take place in Llyod Town Park in Tullamore at 3pm.
