Ryanair has cancelled two flights between Ireland and France on Monday and is advising all passengers to check their website for travel updates due to a strike by French air traffic controllers.

Over 1000 flights in total have been cancelled due to the strike action.

There may be further disruption to flights as the south of France will also be affected from Tuesday.

The strike action is due to start on Monday morning at 5am and will continue until Friday evening.

Not only flights serving Paris are affected, but also services overflying France, including links from the UK and Italy, Switzerland and Spain.
